W-shaped filters
General description
Compact W-shaped fine filters are intended for the effective air cleaning from fine aerosols in gas-turbine and compressor units, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. They can also be used as preliminary cleaning filters prior to using highly effective HEPA and ULPA filters.
Filter design
The filter case is produced from high-impact polystyrene, in which filter packages reinforced with protective meshes that are sealed across perimeter with a special two-component polyurethane glue are installed at an angle to the air flow. Seamless foamed polyurethane is used as sealing and is applied applied by adhesion.

7 Testing
ST – Test on the determination of the initial effectiveness of a dustfree filter at 0.4 μm. Differential test – determination of the pressure drop as a function of a clean filter airflow rate.
